Meet The Publicist!!!
I’m pleased to announce that publicity for LeNora Jaye will be handled by Keneritz Media, a New York-based publicity and promotion agency. The principle publicist is Kendall Williams, who can be reached at publicity@lenorajaye.com and keneritzmedia@aim.com.
I've known Kendall for over ten years, and having him represent me is a no-brainer. KABLAM!!!!
Guess who's back in the mothaf.....if you know the rest of that line then you are just as naughty as I am *hehe*
Ok, so I am on a high from being closer to finishing this CD project (titled THE STORY as those in the know, know!). I had a great session yesterday mixing 2 of the remaining 5 songs that need post-production and/or mixing so that I can get to the part of mastering this puppy! Sometimes I listen to the mixed tracks and can't believe these are MY songs, can't believe I actually did them (with help of course - shout out to Steve Wallace, Thierry DeJean, Jonathan Lloyd, Douglas Glover & SUPA) but at the end of the day it's pure LeNora Jaye up in the mix and I couldn't be prouder. Don't know what the future holds for this project, if it will sell well, if people will dig it, if they will get what I'm about through this music, but right now I'm just proud to have done it.
So.....in saying all of that, check out the final mixed version of "It's On Tonight" (aka 2nd runner up for DMusic Soul/R&B Song of The Year 2007 !!!) and tell me whatcha think.
***Side note***
Most of my songs that I post on DMusic are exclusives - meaning I might not post them on any of my other music websites (myspace, musicfreedom etc.). ONLY on Dmusic. If you don't check em out here, you'll have to wait til the CD drops to hear em

And The Story goes.....
Dmusic people! I have good news & I have not so good news. Which do you want first?
Since I'm the only one who answered that question, let's go with the good news first!
Good News -- My song "It's On Tonite" was nominated for R&B/Soul/Urban Song of the Year right here on DMUSIC! I didn't know until today. Ain't that a blip? Many heartfelt thanks to whomever nominated me and to those who vote for me. I'm in a category with some very talented women so we're all winners!
Not So Good News -- The CD release has been pushed back. I'm still working on it y'all, trying to make sure it's the sonic baby I've always wanted to birth. THE STORY will be ready to be told in March of 08.

LeNora Jaye's LP "The Story" -- Coming Soon to an Ear Near You!
I am almost finished on this CD hallelujah! I expect to deliver this musical baby *hehe* sometime in October of this year.
This will be a 14track album & will be released independently (as far as I know).
It's been a very, long, exhausting & bumpy ride folks and I'm hoping it will have all been worth it in the end.

Goodbye Gotham, Hello Peach!
Hi Dmusic folks
I know it's been a while since I've been logged in.
I was in transition. I relocated from NYC to Georgia. I am soooo much happier here.
The sunshine, grass, trees, friendly people, open space --- even the bugs --- is the balm I needed for my tender & creative soul.
NYC will always be a part of me and I'll continue to do music work there but Georgia is now where I will lay my head and plant my seeds!
Change IS good!

I have uploaded a new song called "So Right". I'll probably only keep it online for like a week or so. I'd love some dmusic constructive criticism.
I promise not to dissapear for weeks again unless I'm on a tour or something (and not even then).

It's been weeks since I've logged in & I know it seems like I was cheating on dmusic.com with myspace.com but I swear I've been faithful to ya baby!
What ha-happened wuz, I got caught up in that "Add A Friend" feature on myspace and started hanging out with the wrong crowds, drinking, partying and ....
Okay, with all seriousness, I didn't have any music to add to dmusic so I shamefully stayed away. However, as always, my tracks will be on dmusic before they are EVER on myspace (sometimes I'll post tracks on dmusic that I'll never put on myspace! How bout that?). This is my 1st interactive music home and I trust the ears & eyes on this site.
That being said, I've uploaded (again) a new mix of my song "You're Not The One" which will be on my EP. It has live instrumentation now and I really put my heart, soul (& liver) into the vocals. Please check it out & give me some feedback/construction criticism before I master the sucker.
To all my friends on here who've come by my page to show me some love while I was over on myspace.com getting high offa adding friends to my list, THANK YOU!! (tsand, perkie, Aysha, genehilbert,shadowmom, thelorinator etc.)
